Program Overview
Keycafe Shield is an optional plan that extends your SmartBox coverage beyond the standard warranty and introduces upgrade benefits that reduce long-term equipment costs. Designed to future-proof your deployment, it ensures uninterrupted service and the ability to upgrade to the latest hardware when eligible.
Perpetual Warranty
Standard one-year coverage is extended indefinitely for all SmartBoxes while enrolled.
Free Hardware Upgrades
SmartBox base stations that reach 5 years in service are eligible for a free upgrade to the latest generation equivalent. Products declared end-of-life with a replacement available are also covered for no-cost replacement.
50% Discount on Early Upgrades
Prefer to upgrade early? You can upgrade to the latest generation base station at any time at 50% off retail.
Pricing & Eligibility
Billed and applies to all locations on your account.
- Enrollment must begin within 90 days of your first SmartBox deployment.
- Customers are subject to approval based on operating conditions and historical usage.
- Coverage may be discontinued with a prorated refund in specific cases, such as unsafe installation conditions or unusual claim activity.
- Limitations apply as outlined in our Store Terms.
